The 2021 calendar of Science Supplements Bolesworth Elite Auctions continues this week with an exclusive online auction showcasing thirteen impressive, handpicked yearlings, all with close relations to top 1.45m performers and a strong focus on black-type damlines.
Following in the pathway of the sensational inaugural A-List auction, held at the Dodson & Horrell Bolesworth International Horse Show, the Elite Yearling Online Auction is now open for bidding (Friday 16th July 9am). Registered bidders will be able to place their bids online and follow the progress of the auction before its conclusion Monday 19th July at 7pm.
Carefully selected by the experienced Elite Auction team the eagerly anticipated line-up brings together the very best bloodlines from quality breeding intended for high level sport. This, coupled with a clean vetting certificate issued fourteen days prior to the auction offers buyers absolute confidence in the auction format.
Stand out yearlings from the class of 2021 include Lot No. 2 Aredis Constance, a stunning filly profoundly stamped with her sire Conthargos’ athleticism, scope, and quality. With much of his progeny already proven Grand Prix performers, jumping at the highest level, this highly desirable filly is certainly one to keep an eye on.
As well as Lot No. 5, Lady Christina, sired by the late Christian 25, an eye-catching filly that will no doubt create a buzz amongst bidders. Christian 25 himself represented Team GB up to 5* level as well as numerous accomplishments jumping at 1.60m level including finishing 4th at Budapest CSIO5* in the World Cup qualifier and jumping double clear at Hickstead CSIO5*. She also has an outstanding damline with damsire, Clarimo, competing to 1.60m level and was part of the Swedish winning National Cup team in 2017 with Olympic rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson in the saddle.
Dom Perignom, Lot No. 11, is a super model for the modern sport, by the young 1.60m stallion, Dieu Merci Van T&L. This impressive Zangersheide colt displays much of the attributes embedded throughout his serious pedigree and promotes himself as a likely contender for top-level sport.
Hailing from the Stal-Hendrix stable in the Netherlands is Lot No. 13, Unique Of The Paddocks. A scopey colt out of the 1.45 Grand Prix mare, Walzerbraut (by Lupicor), he showcases presence and character. This carefully bred colt is by Philipp Weishaup’s former top ride Catoki Z, who’s offspring have already earned over €3m in prize money.
The highly sought-after auction catalogue of elite yearlings also hosts progeny from other desirable modern sires and damsires such as Gaspahr, Escape Z, Indoctro and Numero Uno to name but a few.
